A client required a 24 metre long, 2.1 metre wide access bridge installed during a shutdown, with minimal disruption to operations. The bridge needed to be craneable, stable and fit for purpose immediately on placement, as there was a strict one hour operational window available. The design also had to support safe access and controlled movement at height, using 1500mm Apollo X Beams and Plas Tec Boards, while meeting site safety, compliance and permit requirements under constrained shutdown conditions.
